Handmade Patu Shawl

The patu shawl is one of the most comfy pieces of clothing to come out of the Himalayan belt region. They're woolen shawls (or blankets) meant to be worn during chilly nights.

The patu is a quintessential garment among native communities along the Himalayan belt. It was also used by American forces during their time in Afghanistan, where operators would often wear it along with the pakol to better blend in with the local population.
